Worktop selection and sizes We offer a variety of different sizes of worktops. It is very unlikely that these sizes will match your exact requirements therefore you will need to plan the optimum configuration of sizes required to meet the length and depth requirements that best suit your kitchen layout.
The exact sizes required will need to be cut from the nearest next largest size worktop.
We would advise that you employ the skills of an experienced kitchen fitter to cut and join your worktops on site. If you would like to tackle this job yourself we have comprehensive fitting instructions found here: Installation guide
What is a stave Staves are the sections of timber that the worktops are made up from, they are finger jointed and glued together under high pressure, this process creates a very strong and uniform worksurface.
Prime and rustic grade Prime grade and rustic grade is a reference to the selection of timber that is used in the manufacture of the worktops. Prime grade means that the staves within the worktop are fairly consistent in colour and free of knots, rustic grade means that the staves will have a variation in colour and will show more character and possibly some small, sound knots. The wide stave rustic Oak worktops are much more rustic and will show larger and more frequent knots than in our 40mm stave width rustic Beech worktops.
